Private Art Lessons

For those with a strong interest and/or aptitude in art, I offer one on one instruction and guidance in an open studio environment. Private lessons are available for teens in everything from basic art skills to advanced painting techniques.  Instruction is customized and focused on each individual's needs and interests.   

Step One:  Interview

If your teen is interested in pursuing art lessons:
Arrange a free appointment with me to meet with you and your teen. 
  • I will look at prior artwork, and discuss current skills and experience.
  • We'll determine goals for development and focus. (media, skills, techniques)  
  • Supply lists will be provided based on student's specific area of focus.

Step Two:  Scheduling

Check your calendar and mine:
  • A Small Group Teen Session (2-5 students, Ages 13 - 17, Middle & High School)is held on Wednesday evenings, 5:30 - 7pm.
  • All sessions are 90 minutes. A minimum of 4 sessions/month is recommended.​

Tuition:

Wed. Evening Teen Small Group (2 - 5 students)Ages 13-17, Middle & High School:
$140/four 90min. sessions

**MATERIALS ARE NOT INCLUDED IN TUITION PRICE

Portfolio Development:

Hoping to major in Art in College?  A strong portfolio of your artwork is essential in applying for college Art programs..  I can provide guidance in developing, selecting and presenting your best artwork to showcase your abilities in your Art portfolio.  $30/hr. session
